Overview In this role you will lead the tax team at a boutique CPA firm in North Dallas, serving as the bridge between partners and senior staff. You'll manage client relations, provide tax planning, represent clients before the IRS, and act as a primary reviewer of complex returns. You'll mentor multiple levels of staff and juggle engagements for a diverse client base. The firm emphasizes growth, work-life balance, and a strong trust & estate practice. Responsibilities- Prepare & review complex tax returns
- Direct client contact for tax planning and consulting
- Research complex tax issues
- Train and mentor a multi-level team
- Manage multiple engagements for multiple clients
Key requirements- 6+ years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation
- 3+ years of manager experience (ideally)
- CPA license or Enrolled Agent preferred
- MS in Taxation preferred
- Experience with HNWI, Partnerships, S-Corps, Trust & Estate; client base $1M-$70M
