Overview In this role you will handle plaintiff personal injury matters with a focus on motor vehicle collisions, under the guidance of experienced trial lawyers. You'll contribute across litigation phases, support trial preparation, and work in a collaborative in-office environment. Responsibilities- Oversee a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters (primarily motor vehicle collisions) from early litigation through expert designation, including some premises liability.
- Prepare and file pleadings, written discovery, motions, and supporting briefs with attention to strategy and deadlines.
- Conduct and defend depositions and partner with trial counsel on higher-level strategy and pretrial readiness.
- Support trial attorneys by organizing evidence, refining legal arguments, and serving as second chair toward trial.
- Coordinate with pre-litigation team on files transitioning toward completion of treatment and case progression.
- Maintain a trial-ready mindset and develop records and strategies to strengthen outcomes.
- Utilize firm technology platforms for case tracking, document organization, and workflow, maintaining accurate litigation records.
- Participate in onboarding and ongoing collaboration with litigation leadership to build independence with regular guidance and feedback.
