Overview In this role you will lead commercial construction projects from planning to closeout, driving delivery, safety, and quality across teams. You will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination while communicating with clients and stakeholders. You'll mitigate risk, enforce compliance, and ensure outcomes meet contractual and regulatory expectations. Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of commercial construction projects from planning through closeout
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls to meet milestones
- Coordinate on-site construction activities and subcontractor management
- Administer contracts, change orders, claims, and dispute resolution
- Maintain safety management and OSHA compliance; conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks
- Oversee quality control, commissioning, punch lists, and final inspections
- Collaborate with design, engineering and MEP to resolve constructability issues
- Manage procurement and material delivery, including crane operations and heavy equipment
- Implement value engineering and risk management to optimize cost and schedule
- Provide regular progress reports and maintain client/stakeholder communication
- Utilize construction management software (e.g., Procore) and digital tools for document control and BIM coordination
- Lead project closeout activities including as-built docs, warranties, and final reconciliation
Key requirements- 8+ years of progressive construction project management experience in commercial construction
- Proven expertise in project management principles, contract administration, subcontractor management, and on-site supervision
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, permitting processes, and OSHA requirements
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, and cost controls on multimillion-dollar projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience; PMP or equivalent certification preferred
