Overview In this role you will drive regional fundraising across Leinster and the South East, supporting and growing volunteer branches. You'll work closely with the Fundraising Team Lead to strengthen local relationships, mentor branch leaders, and help branches reach income targets. The position involves planning and delivering fundraising events, campaigns, and projects while managing budgets and branch performance. Expect significant travel initially to build relationships, then ongoing travel as needed, with a focus on people development and collaboration. This is a mission-driven opportunity to scale impact through volunteers and local partners.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with branch volunteers, providing practical support and guidance.
- Identify and mentor potential branch leaders, supporting their development and succession planning.
- Support volunteer recruitment, training and ongoing engagement.
- Help branches plan and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and projects.
- Identify new fundraising opportunities and develop relationships with local businesses, community groups and supporters.
- Take responsibility for regional income targets and profit and loss performance across the region and individual branches.
- Monitor activity, income and expenditure, maintaining accurate records through CRM and reporting systems.
- Share successful approaches between branches and help resolve issues affecting performance.
Key requirements- Proven experience in sales, business development or fundraising, with evidence of achieving targets.
- People management experience, including coaching, mentoring and developing others.
- Experience planning and delivering projects or events.
- Ability to recognise talent and help people take on greater responsibility.
- Strong relationship building, communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence approaching new contacts, including making cold calls.
- Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using CRM systems and reporting tools.
- A full, clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Relevant backgrounds could include area management, regional sales management, field sales management or commercially focused event management.
