Overview

In this role you drive strategic people initiatives within the HR4HR Advisory team for a leading financial institution. You partner with senior leaders to shape a people agenda, manage talent and performance processes, and support organizational change activities. You will engage across a matrixed organization, offering guidance on compensation, development, and employee relations to deliver business impact. This is a high-visibility opportunity to influence leadership decisions and institutionalize new structures.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to set and implement a people agenda for aligned lines of business
  • Maintain talent and performance cycles, including succession planning and promotion guidance
  • Support year-end compensation processes and salary/incentive planning with finance/management
  • Lead employee listening initiatives and action planning based on surveys
  • Provide individualized development and coaching to managers and emerging leaders
  • Advise leadership on organizational structuring and reorganization to embed changes into BAU
  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to execute strategic HR priorities
  • Navigate and influence across a highly matrixed organization to drive people initiatives
Key requirements
  • Proven ability to interact with business leaders at all levels and influence decisions
  • Project management and end-to-end process improvement skills
  • Strong analytical thinking to identify issues and root causes
  • Experience operating in a highly matrixed, multi-level organization
  • Solid relationship management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative culture and solve problems in a matrixed setting
  • Capacity to drive change across stakeholders and the HR team
  • Experience partnering with employee relations and HR legal on time-sensitive matters
  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Technically proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
