Overview In this role, you'll oversee insurance monitoring and compliance for commercial loans across multiple programs, acting as a subject-matter expert within the Servicing and Asset Management function. You will lead insurance-related quality control, audits, and renewals, while coaching Insurance Analysts and ensuring adherence to lender guidelines and regulations. The position sits at the intersection of risk, operations, and client communication, driving accurate, timely insurance data and decisions. You'll contribute to process improvements and serve as the primary contact for insurance matters in your portfolio.

Responsibilities- Quality control and oversight of insurance waiver requests, blanket analysis, flood analysis, and force placement
- Serve as portfolio team lead and subject-matter expert on Lender Guidelines and requirements
- Review and approve premium disbursements
- Assist with Insurance Team audit preparation and responses
- Coordinate with insurance vendors to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables and oversight
- Mentor and train Insurance Analysts; monitor team compliance with policies
- Work duties of CRE Insurance Associate/Analyst as needed (renewals, compliance reviews, data compilation)
- Communicate with lenders, borrowers, agents, and insurers to resolve non-compliance issues
- Monitor and ensure loan servicing system data accuracy; support system enhancements and special projects
- Primary point of contact for Insurance matters within assigned portfolio
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years in Commercial Property insurance
- Ability to read/interpret commercial property policies
- Commercial insurance agency/servicing experience
- Insurance compliance background including regulations and standards
- Understanding of complex loan documents and third-party reports
- Strong teamwork and client-facing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
