Overview As Sr. Manager, Finance & Strategy, you will own the financial strategy and business partnership for GTM functions (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing) at OpenGov. You'll lead an analytics agenda, develop a conviction-backed point of view, and influence senior stakeholders. This in-office role in San Francisco reports to the Director, GTM Finance & Strategy, and collaborates with the CFO and GTM leadership. You will build scalable models and drive the growth agenda with autonomy and high ownership.

Responsibilities- Manage and develop a Sr. Analyst with coaching and prioritization
- Lead financial strategy and performance narrative for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing
- Forecast topline performance and link operational drivers to revenue outcomes
- Own ARR reporting infrastructure; collaborate on CPQ data structure and GAAP revenue dynamics
- Own end-to-end P&L and GTM spend, including headcount and commissions
- Improve financial models, reporting, and forecasting frameworks
- Lead high-impact strategic projects (long-range planning, GTM strategy, capacity analysis, market analysis, compensation design)
- Build cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Professional Services, RevOps, CS, and CFO's office
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA a plus
- 6-10+ years in strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or high-growth SaaS
- Experience managing or developing others
- Exceptional written and verbal communication for senior executives
- Structured, independent analysis in ambiguous environments
- Advanced financial modeling skills
- Fluency with CRM/CPQ data and Looker; data-diagnostic capability
- Experience experimenting with AI tools to scale work
