Accounts Payable Specialist

You will support the accounts payable workflow and ensure accurate processing of invoices and payments. The role collaborates with Accounting and Finance, handles documentation, and backs up a colleague as needed. You'll assist month-end close and contribute to efficient vendor management and record-keeping. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to improve processes in a practical, detail-driven environment.

• Review purchase orders and receiving documentation for accuracy
• Process, verify, and reconcile invoices
• Code payables correctly before entry into the system
• Enter invoices and credit memos into the accounting system
• Process accounts payable checks and reimbursements as needed
• Maintain system for matching invoices with documentation
• Assist in month-end close processes
• Perform clerical duties like filing and scanning documents
• Backup for other Accounts Payable Specialist
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL Accounts Payable & Purchasing or similar ERP; NetSuite is a plus
• General bookkeeping experience preferred
