Overview In this Credit Analyst role, you will gather and evaluate financial data on current and prospective clients to develop credit analyses for Lending Officers and senior management. You will spread financials, prepare credit reports, and maintain records within the SMS framework that covers specialized mortgage services. You'll work across teams to support lending facilities, collateral assessment, and compliance. This position offers exposure to mortgage-focused credit and treasury-related operations in a bank environment.

Responsibilities- Spread, manage and maintain financial background information for clients
- Develop credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer and management
- Prepare credit department reports and maintain related records/files
- Analyze credit and collateral information to assess lending risk
- Collect, organize and analyze company financials to ensure compliance and update bank systems
- Resolve compliance issues and inquiries with clients
- Review client financials and perform sensitivity analyses for risk assessment
- Collaborate with cross-functional bank groups to support treasury management, FX, derivatives and legal documents
- Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans
- Facilitate reporting with third parties (auditors, appraisers) and monitor loan disbursements for regulatory compliance
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- GPA 3.0+
- Completion of an Accounting course
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Interest in Commercial Banking
