Overview In this role you will define and govern the technology architecture and multi-year roadmap for the Customer Digital Platforms, aligning business strategy with engineering and product delivery. You will lead AI-driven development lifecycle practices across web, mobile, chat, and contact-center domains, ensuring secure, observable, and high-quality outcomes. You will collaborate with product, engineering, DevSecOps, security, and operations to create a cohesive, AI-enabled customer technology ecosystem. This is a strategic leadership position focused on modernization, risk-aware delivery, and scalable platform acceleration.

Responsibilities- Define and advance a portfolio-wide AI-DLC across inception to learning, including governance and human decision points
- Establish AI support for requirements, architecture, design, deployment, observability, and knowledge reuse
- Create architecture guardrails, patterns, quality gates, and controls for safe AI-enabled delivery
- Align cross-functional teams around AI-DLC roles, artifacts, ceremonies, and accountability
- Develop reusable context across architecture decisions, code, tests, telemetry, and incident learnings
- Measure AI-DLC effectiveness via value, cycle time, quality, security, and adoption
- Pilot and scale AI-DLC practices across web, mobile, chat, call center, and Gigawatt Customer
- Define and implement portfolio-wide CI/CD, security, quality, and release standards with DevSecOps
- Create end-to-end telemetry, monitoring, and operational health standards with Observability
- Maintain a consolidated capability map and multi-year roadmap for the customer technology ecosystem
- Translate business strategy into architecture direction, investments, and executable plans
- Lead architecture reviews, governance, and reusable patterns across channels
- Drive modernization, platform reuse, and technical debt reduction
- Partner with business, product, experience, and operations leaders to understand needs and outcomes
- Present strategy, AI-DLC progress, and risks to senior leadership
- Develop business cases, options, and modernization proposals; manage cross-program dependencies and governance
- Build and lead a high-performing architecture team; foster collaboration across multiple functions
- Own the customer digital capability map, target-state architecture, and modernization direction
- Define portfolio standards for CI/CD, telemetry, and production readiness
- Define where AI may automate or require human review
- Provide executive visibility on architecture maturity and delivery readiness
Key requirements- 12+ years of technology leadership in enterprise or portfolio architecture, digital platforms, or large-scale modernization
- Experience defining or transforming AI-enabled delivery across planning, architecture, engineering, testing, deployment, and operations
- Strong knowledge of enterprise, domain, solution, integration, data, security, cloud, and operational architecture
- Working knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, observability, and reliability engineering
- Experience building multi-year roadmaps, business cases, modernization strategies, and investment recommendations
