Overview

As Utility Relocation Manager, you coordinate relocation activities on the project and provide technical and functional support. You will collaborate with utility owners and designers, lead meetings, and guide cost and schedule planning. You'll ensure quality standards and manage subcontractor work while addressing design changes during construction. This role sits within Ferrovial Construction-Webber 99, offering global scale and cross-functional impact in infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare drawings (MicroStation) and exhibits
  • Coordinate with Utility Owners and their designers
  • Lead meetings with Utility Owners and their designers
  • Plan agendas and produce meeting minutes
  • Manage communications with Utility Owners and designers (drawings, letters, emails)
  • Review and comment on utility design plans
  • Assist/direct Utilities meetings
  • Perform quantity take-offs
  • Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates
  • Perform cost control and labor scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards
  • Process change orders
  • Provide technical expertise on Utilities, ROW and Easements
  • Recommend solutions to design changes during construction
  • Manage subcontractor scope of work across contracts
  • Assist in managing Utility Design and Coordinator Company scope and conflicts
Key requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent
  • 4 years of progressive design responsibilities on PPP and Design-Build projects
  • Experience with utility design and adjustments with utility owners preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, schedule program, and MicroStation
  • Scheduling experience preferred
  • Experience in quantity take-offs and cost budgeting
  • Experience on TxDOT highway project corridors
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
