Overview

As Real Estate Associate, you will handle sophisticated commercial real estate transactions within a national AmLaw 200 firm. You'll collaborate with a cross-functional team on acquisitions, dispositions, and financing across diverse asset classes. The role blends high-profile matter work with ownership of closing processes, due diligence, and drafting. Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in real estate purchases, sales, and financing transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related transactional documents
  • Coordinate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning and other real estate matters
  • Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, closings, and post-closing matters
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to deliver integrated legal solutions
  • Manage client communications and support efficient execution of complex transactions
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience
  • Active Bar Admission in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington, D.C., in good standing
  • Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
  • Strong understanding of real estate transaction structures, due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills and client service orientation
  • Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
