Overview In this role you drive R&D FPV data strategy and finance data systems, leading a team to deliver high-quality data, analytics and automated solutions. You will partner with Tech to govern data, enable efficient access and reporting, and use AI and automation to transform data storage and delivery for decision making. A customer-focused, cross-functional role that shapes FPV data capabilities for R&D and patient impact. This position offers hybrid work from NYC/London equivalents with global collaboration and leadership responsibility.
Responsibilities- Own and govern R&D Finance and SRM data: storage, quality, access, calculation, and strategy
- Interface with Tech for requirements, prioritisation, governance, funding and delivery
- Understand current and future business and customer needs
- Leverage AI and automation to optimise data storage, transformation and provision
- Enable AI/Automation adoption in FPV and wider R&D through data provisioning
- Ensure robust, auditable data for external enquiries and analyses
- Lead and develop the team; drive uptake of automation/AI
- Lead US Contracting central activity
- Provide ad hoc support for FPA&C VP and FPVLT members
Key requirements- ACCA or equivalent professional accountancy qualification
- Experience in finance, data management, and technology, including automation or AI
- Experience presenting financial or data analyses to senior leaders
- Experience applying continuous improvement or Agile methods and implementing automation or AI solutions
