Overview

In this role you will lead complex commercial and civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, focusing on delivering on time, on budget, and to quality and safety standards. You will act as the primary client and site contact while mentoring project teams and coordinating cross-functional activities. Your work spans planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and vendor oversight to drive successful project outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership position at scale, shaping project delivery and ensuring regulatory compliance and incident-free operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end management for multiple concurrent construction projects, covering planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and closeout
  • Develop and maintain program and detailed schedules, monitor progress and implement corrective actions to hit milestones
  • Prepare and manage budgets, change orders, forecasts and cash flow to ensure financial performance
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors and on-site crews; enforce quality control and contract compliance
  • Serve as primary client and stakeholder liaison, providing regular status updates and managing expectations
  • Implement and enforce site safety programs in collaboration with safety officers and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; document lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers and field staff to uphold company standards
  • Ensure timely procurement of long-lead items and manage logistics to minimize schedule impacts
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive construction project management experience delivering commercial or civil projects
  • Experience as a Project Manager with full lifecycle responsibility including budgeting, scheduling and subcontractor management
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes and standards; ability to read plans, specs and contracts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management; ability to present to owners and senior leadership
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore or similar)
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP or CCM a plus
  • Ability to travel to project sites regularly and work flexible hours
