Overview In this role you assess and approve orRecommend credit extensions, conducting thorough credit analyses on current and prospective customers. You review accounts and portfolios to identify actions that protect credit quality and reduce risk, using software and analytical tools to support recommended actions. Responsibilities- Approve or advise on extending credit and renewals for loans
- Perform comprehensive credit analyses by gathering and interpreting credit information
- Review customer accounts/portfolios to identify and address credit quality issues and minimize risk
- Utilize software tools to assist credit analysis and evaluate possible action plans
- Provide recommendations/decisions to support final lending decisions
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically six or more years of relevant experience
- Strong credit analysis and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of credit analysis, credit administration, credit policy and procedures, and risk analysis
- Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance
- Effective technical report writing skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages
- Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred
