Overview As a founding Core Faculty member, you will help shape family medicine education in South Texas within the Texas A&M Health-University Health partnership. You will teach medical students, design innovative clinical learning experiences, and help establish a future Family Medicine residency program. The role blends academic leadership with clinical practice and program development to expand physician training in a growing regional health system. You will collaborate with leaders across the TAMH/University Health alliance to create a lasting educational impact and improve access to care. Responsibilities- Teach and mentor medical students in clinical and classroom settings
- Design and implement innovative educational experiences for learners
- Maintain an active outpatient Family Medicine practice while pursuing academic interests
- Help lay the foundation for a future Family Medicine residency program

Key requirements- Academic appointment at Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor level, commensurate with experience
- Experience in medical education and program development
- Ability to teach in both clinical and classroom settings
