Overview As Senior Job Captain, you lead production of architectural drawings and consultant coordination for inpatient and ambulatory care projects. You ensure code compliance and construction administration from site survey to contract documents. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage document review, and interface with clients and consultants to deliver coordinated sets. This role offers an opportunity to shape healthcare facilities within a reputed firm and collaborate across NYC-area projects.
Responsibilities- Lead production of architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents
- Coordinate architectural documents with consultants and manage shop drawings/submittals
- Review and markup architectural documents; respond to RFI's during GC bidding and construction
- Attend construction administration meetings and prepare field reports
- Assist in DOB/DOH code reviews and building analysis
- Interface with clients and consultants
- Manage documentation and coordination from site survey to contract documents
Key requirements- Minimum of 10 years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
- Strong understanding of NYC and NYS Building Codes, ADA compliance, NFPA 2012 for Healthcare, FGI 2018 Guidelines, filing strategies, and base building infrastructure
