Overview

As Healthcare Financial/Actuarial Manager, you contribute to a broad portfolio of financial analyses for employer health and group benefits, interfacing with vendors and client teams. You'll support claim reporting, financial modeling, and client deliverables while growing your expertise in actuarial theory and benefit programs. The role offers leadership opportunities on financial projects for smaller clients and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs. You'll work in a supportive FAA community focused on advancing healthcare analytics and client impact.

Compensation / Benefits
  • Base salary $90,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities
  • Develop financial analyses, outputs and client deliverables across regional teams
  • Support accurate claim reporting and financial modeling to guide client decisions
  • Learn and apply core financial, actuarial and analytics theories, models and tools
  • Assist with design and funding concepts for benefit plans and budget projections
  • Execute assigned tasks contributing to actuarial deliverables with deadlines
  • Collaborate with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams to deliver project outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships and cross-functional collaboration
Key requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in professional services or health underwriting/actuarial functions
  • Advanced knowledge of health and welfare products & services
  • Experience with big data analytic techniques (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of underwriting and funding concepts
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and deliver quality work on time and within budget
  • Desire to expand client relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to guide junior colleagues and provide feedback
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
  • Progress toward health actuarial designation or CEBS (optional)
