Overview As Associate Attorney, you will support and potentially lead civil litigation matters across class actions, data privacy, securities, and antitrust. You will work closely with the litigation team to develop cases from pleadings through discovery and trial, shaping strategy and client advocacy. The role emphasizes strong legal analysis, persuasive writing, and proactive business development to identify new matters. You'll engage in depositions, mediations, and hearings, contributing to client relationships and firm growth.
Responsibilities- Prepare pleadings, dispositive motions, and filings with strategy and deadlines in mind
- Conduct detailed legal research and convert findings into persuasive written work and practical recommendations
- Manage written discovery, draft requests, assess responses, and guide discovery strategy
- Prepare witnesses and participate in depositions, including examination and defense as needed
- Represent the firm in mediations, hearings, and other proceedings while supporting case strategy and client advocacy
- Collaborate on civil and complex litigation matters, contributing to case assessment, factual development, and planning
- Identify and evaluate potential case opportunities through networking, market awareness, and issue spotting
- Support business development by cultivating referral sources and generating leads for future engagements
