Overview As Associate Attorney in Civil Litigation, you will support the legal team in managing a diverse caseload and providing effective counsel to clients. You will draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and conduct legal research to shape strategy. You will represent clients in hearings, depositions, and related proceedings, collaborating with senior attorneys to develop settlements and case plans. You will maintain clear client communications and stay current with laws impacting your matters. Responsibilities- Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and negotiate settlements
- Maintain effective communication with clients regarding case updates and options
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations impacting cases
- Assist in managing case files and documentation with accuracy and compliance
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
