Overview As a Commercial Project Manager, you will lead ground-up commercial construction projects from inception to closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality targets are met. Responsibilities- Manage commercial construction projects from inception through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
- Administer subcontractor contracts and manage subcontractor performance
- Review and negotiate change orders while maintaining project profitability
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company standards
- Utilize project management software to monitor progress, costs, and documentation
- Provide regular project reporting to senior leadership
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Minimum 10 years of total experience in the commercial construction industry
- Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and change management
- Experience with subcontractor administration and contract management
- Proficiency with construction management software, including Procore
