Overview In this role you lead a loss prevention team at Von Maur to protect company assets and reduce shrink by monitoring store activity for fraud and theft. You motivate associates, train and coach by example, and align actions with department goals. You diagnose problems, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement in loss prevention across shifts. You'll work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, and weekends in a customer-service driven, family-owned retailer that supports growth opportunities. Responsibilities- Motivate loss prevention associates to identify and reduce sources of loss and provide coaching
- Perform all duties of a loss prevention associate and achieve case goals
- Assess and develop associates' skills to meet department goals and reduce shrink
- Provide feedback on case statistics to the team
- Develop and implement solutions to reduce loss
- Maintain availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts
