Overview In this role, you provide comprehensive adult neurological care across outpatient and inpatient settings within UTMB Health. You will work in the Adult Neurology Clinic, support ward and consult services, and participate in EEG-related activities if applicable. The position includes teaching medical students and residents and coverage for other faculty, contributing to high-quality patient care and educational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to internal controls while handling administrative duties. Responsibilities- Provide outpatient and inpatient neurological clinical care to UTMB patients
- Care for patients in the Adult Neurology Outpatient Clinic, including sub-specialty procedures/diagnostic testing
- Participate in call rotations with other faculty for General Neurology and EEG (if applicable)
- Cover ward/consult service for adult neurology
- Teach and supervise medical students and residents
- Provide coverage for other Neurology faculty in their absence
- Complete paperwork and billing for patients
- Adhere to internal controls within the department
- Perform related duties as required
Key requirements- MD or equivalent
- Board Certified orBoard Eligible in Neurology
- Neurology fellowship training preferred in Neurophysiology
