Overview As HR Manager, you lead people, compliance, and culture to support organizational success. You will partner with leadership to ensure lawful, people-focused programs and effective HR operations. You shape policy, payroll, benefits, and training while mentoring the HR team. Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with Federal and state employment and labor laws
- Oversee Workers' Compensation policies and procedures
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
- Conduct annual reviews of employee compensation and benefits
- Manage open enrollment, FMLA, and short-term disability
- Own payroll processes and accuracy
- Serve on the 401K plan review committee
- Design and implement employee evaluation programs
- Analyze exit interview trends and report insights to leadership
- Mentor and develop HR staff
- Partner with employment attorneys on compliance and policy matters
- Assess training needs and implement programs
- Participate in disciplinary and grievance processes
Key requirements- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in organizations with 100+ employees
- Proven expertise in FMLA and ADA administration
- Hands-on experience managing compliance across multiple states
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Ability to work onsite in a collaborative team environment
