Responsibilities- Defend in product liability and silicosis matters
- Attend depositions
- Answer discovery requests
- Draft pleadings, motions, and pre-trial reports
- Perform risk analysis and case assessment
- Review medical records (primarily handled by paralegals)
- Meet billable targets with pro-rated non-billable components
- Operate in a remote work environment and contribute to a startup-leaning culture
Key requirements- CA litigation experience (1 year minimum)
- Remote work capability
- Interest in defense work and growth within litigation
- Trial experience preferred
- Not coming from big law; adaptable, proactive
- Local to Southern California preferred, or willing to work from anywhere in CA
