Overview In this role you support the delivery of commercial construction projects across Southern California, focusing on process piping and related systems. You'll collaborate with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget. The position involves coordinating documentation, procurement support, and close coordination with design-build and fabrication teams. Compensation / Benefits Responsibilities- Assist Project Managers through all project phases from preconstruction to closeout
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Support procurement activities including material buyouts, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements
- Assist with scheduling, planning, and progress tracking
- Monitor budgets, labor productivity, and cost forecasts
- Participate in meetings and maintain minutes and action items
- Assist with monthly billings, collections, and financial reporting
- Coordinate with fabrication, BIM, and field operations for delivery
- Support project closeout activities including punch lists, as-builts, and warranty packages
- Promote safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Key requirements- Minimum of 1 year in construction project management, project engineering, or project coordination
- Process piping experience
- Experience supporting commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or MEP construction projects preferred
- Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Strong organizational skills with multi-priority management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar software preferred
