Overview In this AVP, Staff Administration role, you partner with OCEO leaders to translate enterprise priorities into coordinated plans, informed decisions, and measurable progress. You lead executive rhythms, cross-business initiatives, and the development of business-unit strategies with clear objectives and metrics. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting, turning strategy into practical action. Responsibilities- Serve as strategic staff administration partner to OCEO leaders, translating priorities into coordinated plans, decisions, and execution
- Coordinate executive operating rhythms, including leadership meetings, planning activities, agendas, materials, action tracking, and follow-through
- Lead enterprise and cross-business initiatives with plans, milestones, governance, decision points, and progress reporting
- Develop business-unit strategy with leaders to define priorities, objectives, measures, and execution plans
- Oversee financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and planning for portfolios or functional areas
- Prepare executive-level reporting and analysis; identify trends and risks and provide recommendations
- Build alignment across business and staff units; liaison with enterprise partners, communications, HR, finance, and IT
- Coordinate responses to inquiries by engaging partners and providing timely recommendations
- Monitor strategic commitments and dependencies; surface barriers and help resolve issues to stay aligned with long-term direction
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned
Key requirements- Undergraduate studies in business or related field
- Ten or more years in business management, strategy, operations, financial analysis, project/program management, communications, and leadership
- At least five years of management or leadership experience
- Experience supporting senior executives and coordinating enterprise initiatives; cross-functional work
- Experience in insurance or financial services preferred
- Knowledge of insurance/financial services operations, budgeting, and program management
