Overview In this role you drive growth in a design/build HVAC business by building relationships with general contractors and facility stakeholders. You'll translate client needs into high-margin design/build proposals and winning bids, while managing key accounts and expanding recurring contracts. Responsibilities- Develop long-term relationships with General Contractors, property developers, and facility directors
- Accurately estimate equipment, labor, material, and vendor costs for HVAC/piping projects using estimating software
- Lead design/build proposals in collaboration with internal engineering
- Solicit and assemble competitive bid packages for commercial clients
- Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs and alignment meetings to ensure smooth handoffs
- Manage and grow commercial account portfolios for recurring maintenance and retrofit contracts
Key requirements- 5+ years in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, or technical equipment sales
- Solid knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork/piping design, and building codes (Wisconsin)
- Proven track record closing business with General Contractors and facility owners
- Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple high-stakes bids
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder with valid driver's license and residence within 45-minute radius of Greater Madison, WI
