Overview As a Senior Scientist in PKDM-BA (Immunoassay) you will lead non-regulated immunoassay development for pharmacokinetic and soluble target protein measurements. You will work with cross-functional teams to generate high-quality bioanalytical data that informs program decisions. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and focused on assay design, optimization, and validation. Responsibilities- Develop, qualify, validate, and execute non-regulated immunoassays for PK and soluble target proteins
- Analyze samples using ELISA, MSD/ECL, Gyrolab, Quanterix, AlphaLISA, and other relevant platforms
- Independently design experiments, troubleshoot issues, and implement assay improvements
- Generate reproducible data adhering to scientific and laboratory standards
- Perform assay transfer, method qualification, and validation to support program objectives
- Interpret results and communicate findings via technical reports, presentations, and discussions
- Collaborate with Discovery Research, Precision Medicine, Translational Safety and Risk Sciences, and other functions
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data management
- Evaluate and implement new immunoassay technologies and methodologies
- Support lab operations including instrument maintenance, reagent qualification, inventory management, and continuous process improvements
Key requirements- Doctorate degree (PhD or PharmD or MD) or Master's with 3 years of scientific experience or Bachelor's with 5 years of scientific experience
- 3-5 years of industry or CRO experience in immunoassay development and bioanalysis
- Hands-on expertise with immunoassay platforms including ELISA, MSD/ECL, Gyrolab, Quanterix, AlphaLISA
- Experience supporting PK and soluble target protein measurements for biologics programs
- Ability to independently conduct experiments, troubleshoot, and analyze complex data
- Strong understanding of immunoassay principles, optimization, and bioanalytical best practices
- Experience generating high-quality data in regulated or non-regulated environments
