Overview In this Tax Manager role, you lead complex corporate tax engagements for a growing tax services firm serving U.S. and international clients. You guide junior and offshore staff, ensure timely, accurate filings, and help scale tax operations through process improvements. You will manage international tax reporting and serve as a main client contact, delivering clear guidance on intricate tax matters. The role blends tax expertise with technology-driven workflows in a fast-moving, remote environment.
Responsibilities- Lead preparation and final review of corporate tax filings (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065)
- Oversee multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction engagements to ensure accuracy and on-schedule filings
- Provide direction and quality control for entry-level professionals and offshore team members
- Manage international tax reporting, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865
- Maintain compliance by monitoring deadlines, supporting documentation, and technical issue resolution
- Partner with firm leadership to improve workflows and scale tax operations
- Act as trusted client liaison, communicating clearly and guiding clients through complex tax matters
