Overview As Production Supervisor, you will plan and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet schedule safely. You will supervise hourly coordinators and production staff, coaching performance and driving SQDCME metrics. You'll develop production plans, assign priorities, and manage labor to achieve targets while promoting a clean, safe workplace. You will lead continuous improvement efforts and support onboarding and cross-training. Responsibilities- Supervise processes and staff to meet schedule attainment goals
- Develop and execute production plans for SQDCME metrics
- Complete daily production plan by scheduling personnel and setting priorities
- Manage labor effectively and communicate clear expectations
- Direct and train production employees on equipment and tools
- Coach and counsel employees; enforce process controls and policies
- Promote a clean, safe work environment
- Foster cooperation across departments
- Maintain Safe Work Instructions and perform required audits
- Lead continuous improvement activities, including the ECO System
- Coordinate training and onboarding for new employees
- Develop cross-training plans and maintain skills matrices
Key requirements- 2 3+ years supervisor experience in manufacturing
- Ability to identify OSHA compliance issues and control hazards
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop direct reports
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing, 5S and CI concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Kronos, ADP, SAP, and other business software/systems preferred
