Overview As Interim General Counsel, you will lead the legal function for a 90-day period to cover a leave of absence, providing strategic guidance to executive leadership and stakeholders. You will supervise and field-craft legal advice across governance, compliance, risk, employment, and commercial matters, while directing outside counsel as needed. This role focuses on sustaining business operations with practical risk recommendations and ensuring continuity of the legal team during the interim. You will work in a fast-paced environment, shaping risk-aware decision making and ensuring legal resilience during the transition.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day legal guidance to executive leadership and internal stakeholders
- Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
- Advise on corporate governance, compliance, risk management and employment-related matters
- Manage outside counsel as needed and oversee ongoing legal matters
- Support business operations by identifying legal risks and recommending practical solutions
- Ensure continuity of the legal department during the leave period
