Responsibilities- Manage full lifecycle of commercial construction projects from planning to closeout
- Develop and monitor schedules and budgets; forecast costs and control change orders
- Oversee contracts with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; negotiate terms and resolve disputes
- Supervise site operations for quality, compliance, and safety
- Identify and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and consultants; lead progress meetings and reporting
- Promote health, safety, and environmental policies and a safety-first culture
- Track performance metrics and prepare executive and financial summaries
- Mentor project team members and support talent development
- Drive process improvements using best practices, technologies, and tools
Key requirements- Minimum 8 years in construction with at least 3 years in project management for commercial projects
- Expertise in scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and site supervision
- Experience managing commercial projects (office, retail, hospitality, mixed-use)
- Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and OSHA or safety standards
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to influence stakeholders
- Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, Procore, BIM tools, or similar software
- Strong financial acumen, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
