Overview In this role you will steward the company's employee equity program, ensuring accurate grants, vesting, and tax compliance while maintaining proper accounting records. You will work closely with senior leadership to align equity activities with the company's high-growth, scalable systems. You will handle back-office numbers to reflect stock expense, liabilities, and cap table integrity, supporting auditors and regulatory reporting. This is a strategic, visibility-rich position reporting to senior finance leaders, with broad impact across the organization.

Responsibilities- Record stock-based compensation expense and automate journal entries by vesting period
- Manage fair value calculations and deferment liabilities for equity grants
- Maintain cap table reconciliations and vesting schedules; oversee grants summaries and mappings to GL
- Prepare quarterly equity expense reports, tax reporting (1099s, W-2 adjustments), and SEC compliance reports (if applicable)
- Track forfeitures/expired options for accounting reversals; update grant databases and perform month-end/quarter-end close
- Collaborate with CEO, CFO, and VP Accounting to ensure accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance
- Develop scalable processes and systems to support a high-growth equity program
- Coordinate with auditors and maintain equity rollforward schedules
