Overview In this role you will serve as a hands-on Workday Finance subject matter expert, maintaining and enhancing the platform while resolving issues and driving improvements. You will work closely with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into Workday solutions and support end users. You will manage configurations, testing, and training, with a focus on accuracy, automation, and timely delivery. This position offers the chance to influence financial processes at scale and contribute to a cross-functional, data-driven finance function. You will partner with IT and Finance to ensure our Workday ecosystem remains robust and compliant.

Responsibilities- Configure and administer Workday Finance including business processes, security, and user setup
- Serve as functional Workday Finance expert across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Financial Close
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to analyze problems and document requirements for Workday solutions
- Develop business requirements, test scripts, and training materials for Workday projects
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with IT or Accounting Systems Manager
- Monitor interfaces and data flows between Workday and other systems to ensure data integrity
- Identify automation and configuration improvements within Workday finance processes
- Support upgrades, bi-annual releases, and new module implementations; assist with regression testing and communication
- Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure changes meet accounting requirements
- Create SOPs, user guides, and deliver end-user training on Workday Finance
- Support data governance and conduct routine data quality reviews in Workday Finance
Key requirements- Working knowledge of Workday Finance configuration, security, and reporting
- Solid understanding of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and financial close cycles
- Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, ETL, and change management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
