Responsibilities- Lead preparation and initial review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Perform deep-dive technical tax research for compliance and tax-saving opportunities
- Manage and mentor Tax Associates, reviewing their work for accuracy
- Coordinate tax engagements from start to finish to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Assist in tax planning and consulting projects, translating tax laws into actionable client advice
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA license or significant progress toward completion
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of ASC 740 and SALT issues
