Overview In this role you lead on-site interior construction for multi-family, mid- and high-rise projects, delivering high-end drywall and finishes on schedule and within safety standards. You work closely with project teams to align trades, manage field issues, and drive quality from start to close. You shape craftsmanship on luxury finishes and coordinate complex interior build-outs that meet client expectations and project milestones. This position offers a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities- Direct on-site interior construction activities focusing on drywall, Division 9 finishes, and luxury interiors
- Manage subcontractors and crews; ensure quality control and trade coordination
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules, look-ahead plans, and milestones
- Coordinate with PMs, superintendents, architects, engineers, and owners to resolve RFIs and submittals
- Perform quality inspections and sign-off on installations, lead punch lists and closeout
- Enforce safety procedures and OSHA standards; lead site safety meetings
- Control labor and material productivity; identify schedule/budget risks; support change orders
- Document daily logs, progress photos, and reports; maintain project documents in systems
- Oversee sequencing of interior MEP, finishes, and specialty trades for seamless build-outs
- Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff; foster collaborative, craftsmanship-focused culture
Key requirements- 4+ years as Interior Superintendent or Finishes Superintendent on multi-family/high-rise projects
- Hands-on experience with drywall scope, Division 9 finishes, and luxury finishes
- Proven track record managing interior construction on multi-family, mid-rise, and high-rise projects
- Strong ability to read construction drawings, specs, and shop drawings; manage submittals and RFIs
- Excellent leadership and communication; coordinate multiple trades under tight schedules
- Solid understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements; OSHA 30 preferred
- Proficiency with project documentation and reporting; Procore experience a plus
- Experience with scheduling tools, cost awareness, and basic budget control; track labor/material productivity; support change orders
- Must have prior title/role as Interior Superintendent (not just general superintendent or PM) and demonstrated delivery of high-end interior finishes
