Overview As Regional Safety & Health Manager, you lead safety and health programs across projects in the region, aligning with corporate standards. You collaborate with regional leaders to drive compliant, incident-free sites and oversee safety audits, training, and incident investigations. You will shape safety initiatives, report metrics, and ensure regulatory compliance to support a safe, productive work environment. This role offers impact across engineering, construction, and project delivery teams within a global practice.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction on safety and health programs across the region
- Manage safety oversight for engineering, architecture, construction and other projects
- Develop and implement safety programs aligned with corporate standards
- Oversee Task Safety Observation, safety audits, site inspections and work observations
- Develop site safety orientations and present at project site safety meetings
- Analyze and report monthly safety statistics and contribute to progress reports
- Interpret and enforce OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations; ensure program compliance
- Oversee health and safety training including HAZWOPER and 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Training
- Perform incident investigations, develop corrective actions, and follow-up
- Recommend and develop safety training topics; drive continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards
Key requirements- Bachelor Degree in related field and 7 years of field experience in construction
- Experience on transmission, energy, or heavy industrial projects
- Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and construction safety standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to travel to various locations; valid driver's license
- CHST or CSP preferred; 10-hour/30-hour Construction Outreach Training eligibility
