Overview In this role, you will administer and sustain RMS EPDM Windchill environments to ensure reliable access for engineers and external users. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement upgrades, optimize infrastructure, and support enterprise engineering applications. You will manage Development, QA and Production environments and document configurations and procedures. The position emphasizes proactive problem-solving, performance tuning, and collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions. This is a hands-on role that contributes to RMS program success and engineering Enablement within EBDT.

Responsibilities- Administer and maintain RMS EPDM Windchill environments (LMI and external access)
- Interface with end-users, system and database administrators to resolve issues and implement solutions
- Support upgrade projects (infrastructure, applications, rearchitecture/reconfiguration)
- Analyze logs and performance to solve complex operational problems
- Manage Development, QA and Production environments
- Plan and execute system updates, patches, and software releases
- Document systems, configurations, and procedures; support auxiliary RMS EPDM tasks
- Establish technical specs and standards; ensure integration of subsystems
Key requirements- Proficiency in Redhat Linux and Windows administration
- Unix/Linux scripting (bash) for automation
- Experience with Oracle, Apache/Tomcat, LDAP, and SQL queries
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of enterprise network architecture basics (load balancers, WAN accelerators, firewalls)
