Overview In this role, you will support city school construction projects in NYC by handling permit-related documentation, filing processes, and regulatory coordination. You will work within STV's PM/CM group to ensure permits and City Building Code compliance, contributing to project execution and regulatory data accuracy. You will engage with city agencies and plan examiners to advance project milestones and maintain records. This is a hands-on opportunity to impact school infrastructure while gaining exposure to public-sector construction processes. Responsibilities- Review City-required building permits for accuracy and completeness
- Assist applicants through the filing process with City agencies
- Deliver documentation to city agencies for data entry, review, and approval
- Coordinate with Plan Examiners to ensure Building Code compliance
- Research existing building statuses via city records and databases
- Perform related duties to support project and department goals
Key requirements- A 4-year degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with digital documentation and permit systems
