Overview In this role you will provide comprehensive clinical care for children with hematologic and oncologic conditions, while contributing to education of residents, fellows, and students. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to diagnose, treat, and monitor patients, and you will participate in bedside and didactic teaching. Responsibilities- Deliver clinical care in ambulatory and inpatient settings, including on-call duties
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children and adolescents
- Diagnose and treat hematologic and oncologic conditions in youth
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
- Provide bedside teaching of residents, students and fellows
- Contribute to didactic instruction and multidisciplinary education
Key requirements- MD/DO
- Completion of or in process of completing a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Board certification, eligibility, or in process of becoming board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Ability to obtain a TX Medical License
- Foreign Medical Graduates: ECFMG Certification or Equivalency Certification
