Overview As a Civil 3D Designer, you will transform concepts into precise, buildable civil infrastructure plans. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver roadway, drainage, and utility designs that meet standards and client needs. You'll develop 3D models and plan sets that support safe, efficient, and sustainable projects. Responsibilities- Develop and refine detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into accurate, constructible plans
- Create 3D surface models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections for infrastructure projects
- Prepare plan sets, quantity calculations, and construction documentation
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and quality expectations
- Participate in design reviews and provide innovative technical solutions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery
- Maintain organized drawing files, models, and documentation for efficient project execution
Key requirements- Minimum 5 years of experience preparing civil engineering designs and construction drawings
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience developing grading, drainage, utility, roadway, or site development plans
- Strong understanding of civil engineering design standards and drafting practices
- Experience creating and managing 3D models, surfaces, alignments, profiles, and corridors
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in civil engineering technology, drafting, or a related field preferred
