Overview

In this role you will protect and enhance the value and living experience of the community while directing daily operations to meet financial and service goals. You will lead cross-functional teams across maintenance, leasing, security, and marketing to optimize performance. The position offers hands-on responsibility for budgeting, cash flow, and resident relations within a company culture built on Cardinal values. You will work with property leadership to drive improvements and deliver a seamless resident experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day activities across loss prevention, risk management, safety, maintenance, marketing, leasing, and upkeep.
  • Drive leasing strategy and cash-flow planning to support operating income.
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, variances, and cash management; advise on receivables collection.
  • Maintain accurate community records and ensure lease data integrity in management software.
  • Coordinate revenue collection and documentation per lease obligations.
  • Lead on-site maintenance, office staff, and leasing teams; supervise vendors and invoices.
  • Manage resident relations, repairs, rent charges, lease issues, and other concerns.
  • Participate in Cardinal U training and monitor staff participation.
Key requirements
  • Four years of property management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law, and resident relations.
  • Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google platforms.
  • Ability to analyze monthly financials, budgets, and forecasts; identify deviations and recommend actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present ideas clearly and negotiate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong time management and attention to detail.
