Overview

As Real Estate Associate, you will support a sophisticated Commercial Real Estate practice within a national AmLaw 200 firm. You will handle complex acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions across diverse asset classes, collaborating with cross-functional teams on high-profile matters. You'll contribute to structuring, due diligence, and closing processes, shaping deals for sophisticated clients. This role offers meaningful client contact, mentorship, and a path for long-term growth in a collegial, development-focused environment.

  • Compensation: $230,000-$400,000

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in commercial real estate purchases, sales, and financing transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, and related transactional documents
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence reviews, including analysis of title, survey, zoning, and other real estate-related matters
  • Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, closings, and post-closing matters
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients
  • Manage client communications and support the efficient execution of complex transactions
Key requirements
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington, D.C., in good standing
  • 3+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience
  • Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
  • Strong understanding of real estate transaction structures, due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and collaborative teamwork
  • Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
