Overview In this role you will embed with a large-scale data center program to lead RFI processes and coordinate multidisciplinary design. You will act as a bridge among design, construction and program management, ensuring RFIs, design deliverables, and documentation are well-governed. You'll support program governance and improve design clarity while managing complex capital projects in mission-critical environments. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on project delivery and outcomes.

Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the project RFI register with logging, prioritization and tracking through resolution.
- Triage and classify RFIs per project protocols; draft responses using contract documents and approved precedents; coordinate approvals from client design representatives.
- Escalate RFIs involving design changes, code interpretations, schedule impacts, or cost implications to design authority; monitor status and due dates; maintain audit trails of responses.
- Coordinate design deliverables across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and specialty disciplines; track design-related risks and action items; facilitate coordination meetings and document actions.
- Identify design process bottlenecks and communicate risks; support document management including design basis docs, submittal logs, and lessons learned databases; promote cross-functional collaboration.
- Prepare regular program reports on RFI metrics, design status, issue resolution, and risks; analyze trends for process improvement; ensure compliance with documentation standards and governance; observe SOX controls where applicable.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field; 8+ years of experience in project engineering, design management, construction administration, or technical coordination on large capital projects
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary design teams through design development, construction documentation, and construction phases
- Strong knowledge of RFI, submittal, and design change management processes; experience with design-build, EPC, or traditional delivery models
- Proficiency with project information management platforms: Procore, Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360; similar systems
