Locums - Colorado Springs, Colorado, Urology Opening (IMLC Accepted)
Clinical Role
- Coverage November 11, 2026-February 1, 2027
- Additional dates expected beginning February 2027 as schedules are released
- Ongoing coverage anticipated through August 2027
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Concurrent Urology call coverage for 2 facilities
- No backup Urology call coverage
- Patients may be transferred between facilities as needed
Schedule & Call
- 24-hour call coverage
- Coverage needed approximately 30-31 days per month
- 7:00 am shift end time
- 30-minute response time required
- Respond to Urology needs by phone or in person as clinically appropriate
- Physician-to-physician consultations, regional transfer calls, and clinical/nursing guidance
- On-site evaluation, rounding, and surgical intervention as required
Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations
- Level I Trauma setting
- Provide Urology coverage across both facilities
- Perform surgery when required
- Round on patients following on-site evaluation or treatment
- Must disclose ability to perform robotic procedures
Support & Systems
- Epic EMR
- No designated support staff
- Required Epic modules and virtual training must be completed prior to starting
- Virtual EMR training must be completed at least 1 week before the first day
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board Certified in Urology required
- Active Colorado license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission required
- Active DEA required for credentialing
- Transferred DEA may be considered but must remain in place for the duration of the assignment
- Clean malpractice and background highly preferred
- Candidates with a self-query NPDB report may receive priority for emergency temporary privileges
