Automotive Shop Caddy- Full Time Job Summary This is a physically demanding, hands-on cleaning role that keeps a busy automotive service shop safe, organized, and ready for the team.
If you take pride in doing thorough work, can stay productive without constant supervision, and do not mind getting dirty, this may be a strong fit for you.

The Shop Caddy handles the essential work behind the scenes, from daily cleaning and waste removal to restocking and deep-clean projects. The work is extensive and active, but it is also visible, valuable, and important to the entire service operation.

What You Will Do
- Clean and maintain service bays, including sweeping, organizing work areas, and wiping down toolboxes.
- Perform general janitorial work throughout the dealership.
- Clean shop equipment such as tire machines, brake lathes, chargers, and other service equipment.
- Empty trash and handle used oil and coolant containers while assisting with proper material disposal.
- Clean, sanitize, stock, and maintain restrooms and break rooms.
- Complete periodic deep-cleaning projects, including windows, carpets, ceilings, and other hard-to-reach areas.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when items need to be reordered.
- Work safely and cooperatively around technicians, vehicles, tools, equipment, and shop activity.
What to Expect
- You will be on your feet for most of the shift, including frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- You must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
- The shop environment can be noisy, dirty, and physically demanding.
- Much of the work is completed independently, so dependable attendance and self-direction are essential.
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday: 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Alternating Friday or Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
What We Are Looking For
You do not need a polished resume or dealership experience. We are looking for someone who is dependable, notices what needs to be done, and follows through.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable performing sustained physical work and lifting up to 80 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, orderly spaces.
- Previous industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, facilities, warehouse, or similar experience is preferred, but not required.
- Regular and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.
