Overview In this long-term contract, you will evaluate the quality and effectiveness of anti-money laundering, sanctions, and financial crimes controls through detailed QA reviews. You will work with compliance, audit, and operations to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities, and to communicate practical recommendations. You will document observations, produce clear reports, and support regulatory submissions and investigations. You will analyze trends, maintain organized evidence, and promote consistent quality and regulatory obligations across the organization.
Responsibilities- Perform detailed quality assurance reviews of transaction monitoring alerts, case investigations, and regulatory submissions to evaluate completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Assess compliance activities against internal procedures and regulatory expectations related to AML, sanctions, and broader financial crimes controls.
- Document observations, summarize findings, and develop clear written reports highlighting control weaknesses, risks, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Provide actionable feedback to compliance and operational teams to strengthen investigation quality, reporting practices, and adherence to requirements.
- Analyze trends across reviewed work to identify recurring issues, root causes, and remediation or oversight needs.
- Support audit and compliance testing by maintaining organized workpapers, evidence files, and review documentation for internal/external examination.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across compliance, audit, and operations to ensure consistent execution of quality standards and regulatory obligations.
- Contribute to procedural improvements by recommending updates to workflows, review methodologies, and control practices based on assessment results.
