Overview In this role you support Coca-Cola's high-profile marketing, digital, and procurement initiatives by structuring and negotiating complex global deals with partners, sponsors, and vendors. You will collaborate across the Global Legal Function and business functions to advise on IP, data privacy, and technology issues, enabling strategic partnerships and digital transformation. You'll work on high-impact matters at the intersection of iconic brands, partnerships, and enterprise transformation. This position offers broad exposure to cross-functional leaders and global sports, entertainment, and media partnerships.

Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with global marketing and procurement partners, rights holders, agencies, talent, licensees, and suppliers
- Provide commercial contracting support and expertise for marketing, licensing, partnerships, and technology transactions
- Advise on IP, talent rights, name-image-likeness, digital marketing, AI, and emerging issues impacting modern partnerships
- Identify and assess legal risks and deliver practical business solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Manage a diverse portfolio of matters with timely, solutions-oriented support
- Ensure compliance with Code of Business Conduct and ethical standards
- Collaborate to standardize service levels across the Global Strategic Partnerships Legal Team
Key requirements- 5+ years of legal practice in a large law firm or in-house environment
- 2+ years negotiating and managing complex commercial transactions in marketing, sponsorships, sports, entertainment, media, talent, licensing, digital, technology, and procurement
- Experience negotiating with rights holders, leagues, agencies, talent representatives, or major vendors
- IP matters including copyright, trademark, and name-image-likeness rights; technology-related transactions
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the U.S. or international equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication and ability to translate legal issues for non-legal audiences
- Business acumen with enterprise-wide and global perspective
- Ability to manage multiple urgent priorities and build stakeholder relationships
