Overview In this role, you will lead field-level construction efforts to ensure designs are built to the highest standards. You join HDR's Field Services team to deliver safe, high-quality infrastructure across roads, water, transit, and utilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage field coordination, documentation, and cost/tracking while upholding HDR's employee-owned culture and values. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on communities and the world.
Responsibilities- Perform complex construction assignments using established engineering techniques and methods
- Coordinate field activities, manage documentation, monitor costs, bidding, and scheduling
- Receive, issue, and track RFIs, submittals, and related data
- Contribute to other duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
- Previous construction engineering experience
- Professional engineering license (PE or equivalent)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and estimating & CPM scheduling software
- Experience with web-based document collaboration software
